Anna University Tiruchirappalli, Bharathidasan Institute of Technology (BIT) Campus has been established as a Technical Institute under Anna University, Chennai by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The Department of Electronics and Electronics Engineering (EEE) has been a pioneer in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bharathidasan Institute of Technology since 2007. It offers UG and PG courses, with core research and development in power apparatus and systems for many decades. The research specializations of the department are Power Systems, High Voltage, Power Electronics and Drives, Control and Instrumentation, Embedded System Technology, and Power Engineering and Management.
